One To One Consultation 

Individual consultations are of two types:  
(a) For people with an existing diet related condition such as IBS, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, weight gain or digestive discomfort such as constipation, bloating or heartburn  
(b) For people who would like to have their diet reviewed and professional and personalised suggestions made on how best to improve it based on their health background, age and lifestyle.  
A typical consultation will involve: 
1. Completion of a questionnaire prior to meeting 
2. Further exploration of your previous medical history and current health status in order to understand how your body is functioning 
3. Greater in depth analysis of your typical dietary, shopping and cooking habits to determine the causes of your specific condition. 
A personalised treatment programme will then be devised to suit your lifestyle and budget. This will be agreed with you to ensure the plan is achievable and presented in a format which suits you best. Follow up email and telephone support is available if required. 
Consultations takes place in Bridge Therapies Complementary Health Centre, Brecon Complementary Medicine Centre or Rock Park Complementary Health Centre. Please contact me if you are from the Merthyr Tydfil area. 
Telephone, skype and home consultations are also available upon request.

The Good Food & Body Programme 
A nourishing diet and regular physical activity are both essential for overall good health.  
The topics of nutrition and fitness have therefore been amalgamated for a series of unique personalised sessions.  
The aim of this programme is to optimise your diet and fitness level. It is also to show you that, even with little time and at a low cost, it is possible to achieve regular healthy meals and also fit effective physical activity into a busy day. 
Scientific research is constantly linking poor diet and a lack of physical activity with diseases common today. 
Why not be sure about the basics of good nutrition and fitness and feel the benefits yourself ? 
The programme starts with an assessment of your current diet and fitness level. An individualised programme will then be designed to optimise these, ensuring any goals set fit in with your lifestyle. Written programme materials will be provided.  
A six or twelve week programme is available and one to one sessions will be run by Sharon Ling, Nutritional Therapist and Sally Vaughan, Personal Trainer.

Brides & Bridal Parties 
A Bride's Guide To Nutrition has been devised for every bride to look and feel amazing on their big day. 
The build up to a wedding is a busy time and can put extra demands on the body and mind as you prepare. This programme programme is perfect if you would like to maintain or increase energy, have healthy, glowing skin, drop or gain a few pounds and of course, look and feel healthy. 
After an initial consultation when your current diet and health goals are assessed, you will receive a personalised nutrition plan that suits your lifestyle and is therefore easy to follow. Recipes and meal plans will be provided if requested and we shall contact each other regularly to ensure you are on track. It is recommended that the programme starts between 3 and 6 months before your wedding day. Supplement advice may also be provided if requested 
Cost: £99 for bookings made before the end of May 2015. This cost covers one initial consultation and two follow up sessions, including recipes and mealplans if needed.  
Bridal Party Workshops are also available. Why not get together in a relaxed atmosphere for a bridal group nutrition programme. Please call for more information. 
Well at Work: The Office Nutritionist 
An increasing amount of research reveals that nutrition and health promotion at work can have a positive impact on the day to day performance of employees as well as their immediate and long term health. 
A variety of office-based services is offered ranging from a series of 30 minute presentations to 1 -2 hour workshops all based around nutrition and fitness themes. Supporting literature is also provided either in hard copy or on-line, as preferred. Work kitchen posters are also available based on health themes specific to the organisation.  
One to one consultations with indiviual staff members of specific teams may also be arranged together with a writing service for in house company magazines.
